Jod Woods grew up working alongside his father and brother in a small family HVAC business. Learning throughout the years as he worked in every position at the business until becoming partner-owner and committing himself to building the company into a thriving enterprise that it is today.

Jod’s dedication to high ethics and excellence, and his involvement in every aspect of business including operations, HR, financials, marketing, and customer service, have been essential ingredients to its success. He established effective strategies, infrastructure, and systems to manage the changes resulting from rapid and consistent growth.

During his tenure, the business has been recognized and awarded several honors including being named a Top Ten Dealer twice and awarded the Pacesetter Award from top HVAC system manufacturer, TRANE. In 2017, Jod was personally named Outstanding Business Person of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce and in 2019 his company was recognized by the Better Business Bureau with the Business of Integrity award.

After 27 years in the corporate world, Jim Hess ventured into business ownership. His broad experience with business operations, management, and customer service in different industries and positions prepared him for the variety of responsibilities of a business owner.

To independently operate two businesses, Jim developed and applies time management and efficiency skills to manage all operations of both businesses without compromising personal commitments. His strategies cover customer service, financials, marketing, training, and sales. Under his ownership he has streamlined operations to allow both businesses to grow significantly into successful and prosperous companies.

Jim’s desire to help others is woven through his professional life, exemplified by being recognized with Northwest Airlines’ President’s Award for Inspiration and Support. He was also named Town Planner Publisher of the Year in 2017 for his business operation and was asked to share his experience as the keynote speaker at the 2019 annual conference. Jim has served in several top leadership roles with business and community organizations from chambers of commerce to international networking organizations.

His commitment to people permeates his personal life as well, through his continued support and work in missions. He played an instrumental role by applying his administrative, relational, and policy skills, to improve life for people in an African town. He helped to shape funding and construction of a dam, obtain and install a grain grinder for food production, and provide Bibles in their native language.

As the National Director for Business Development at one of the nation’s largest network radio stations Jamin has a proven track record of teaching and creating thriving environments in the areas of leadership, team development, culture creation, and time management.

Successes include leading the team in breaking the company record in sales in the last four years in a row and counting. Under Jamin’s leadership and direction, the departmental culture has improved as teams now have a shared vision and a list of core values that everyone implements.  Jamin has also seen in his own life and the lives of those he leads that work/life balance has improved significantly after implementing time management principles.  Now, the whole team works hard at work and plays hard at home, with family.  Jamin is a Certified Pro for Full Focus Planner through Michael Hyatt & Co. and is a Certified Speaker for the John Maxwell Company.

Additionally, Jamin is a graduate of Dave Ramsey’s Entreleadership where he was immersed in business building the “Dave Ramsey way.”

Jamin served as the Chairman of the Board for a local non-profit and also serves as Chairman of the Board for his high school Alma Mater.  Jamin’s sole desire is to help people create a culture where they can win at work, win at home, and win in life.
